Associate Attorney

Vikram Akula is an Associate Attorney with Goel & Anderson, where he represents clients in their transfer of talent to and within the United States and also advocates for clients before various immigration agencies including U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Labor, and the Department of State. 

Vikram’s primary practice focuses on providing strategic immigration solutions with nonimmigrant petitions in the H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, L-1A, L-1B, TN, O-1, and R-1 visa categories. He also has broad experience with employment-based immigrant visas and drafting PERM Labor Certifications under the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. He has dealt extensively with prevailing wage determination (PWD)  requests, analyzing and responding to PERM audits, and drafting responses to Request for Evidence (RFEs) and Motions to Reconsider or Reopen on a variety of PERM and I-140 issues, including business necessity and ability to pay. He has extensive experience with Form I-485 Applications for Adjustment of Status and supplemental applications for Advance Parole and Employment Authorization, as well as experience with family-based immigrant visa petitions including I-130 petitions and I-360 special immigrant petitions.
