Today, the Department of Labor's ("DOL") new Foreign Labor Application Gateway ("FLAG") system went live, replacing the existing iCERT system. DOL began accepting Labor Condition Applications ("LCAs") through FLAG at 12:00 pm EST today. Previously-filed LCAs remain accessible through iCERT, but DOL is now only accepting LCA submissions through the new FLAG system.

The FLAG homepage states, "The Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) is a cloud-based portal designed to replace OFLC's [Office of Foreign Labor Certification] current iCERT System and will serve as the new application filing and case management solution for all foreign labor certification programs." The homepage highlights enhancements including personalized user accounts, enhanced form preparation, automated case alerts, and improved access to OFLC decisions.
