August Visa Bulletin Released

The Department of State released the preliminary August 2018 Visa Bulletin. Though unlikely, this information is subject to change from now until August 1, 2018. We will provide updates regarding any significant changes. Below is a breakdown of the projected final action dates for the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 categories.

EB-1: All geographic regions are projected to have retrogressed final action dates. India and China's final action dates will remain January 1, 2012. All remaining geographic regions are projected to retrogress to May 1, 2016.

EB-2: India's final action date is expected to remain March 15, 2009, and China's final action date will advance to March 1, 2015. All remaining geographic regions will continue to have current final action dates.

EB-3: China's final action is expected to advance from January 1, 2013 to July 1, 2014. India will advance to January 1, 2009, and the final action date for the Philippines is expected to advance to June 1, 2017. All remaining geographic regions will continue to have current final action dates.
