Sarah D. Cheong

Associate Attorney

Sarah D. Cheong is an Associate Attorney with Goel & Anderson, LLC where she represents clients in their transfer of talent to and within the United States and also advocates for clients before various immigration agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor, and the Department of State.  Her primary practice focuses on providing strategic immigration solutions with nonimmigrant petitions in the E-3, H-1B, H-1B1, L-1A, L-1B, and TN visa categories.

Having worked in the private, federal, and nonprofit sectors, Sarah has gained a broad perspective of immigration while counseling multiple Fortune 500 companies; interning with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Assistant Chief Counsel, during her legal studies; and providing pro bono services to refugees seeking resettlement in the United States.  Sarah’s passion and commitment to effectuating changes within the legal system that address the needs of the minority community have earned her the Minority Bar Association of Western New York Award in 2014.
